An epidural steroid injection (ESI) is a medical procedure in which corticosteroid medication is injected into the epidural space of the spine. The epidural space is the area surrounding the spinal cord and the nerves exiting the spinal cord. The injection can help reduce inflammation and relieve pain in the back, neck, arms, or legs caused by irritated spinal nerves.

The procedure is typically used to treat conditions such as herniated discs, spinal stenosis (narrowing of the spinal canal), or radiculopathy (pinched nerve). The injected corticosteroid, often combined with a local anesthetic, helps reduce inflammation and can provide temporary relief from pain and discomfort. It's important to note that the effects of epidural steroid injections vary from person to person, and they may not provide long-term pain relief for all individuals.

ESIs are usually performed by trained healthcare professionals, such as pain management specialists or anesthesiologists, in a clinic or hospital setting.

Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)
is a medical procedure that uses radiofrequency energy to heat and destroy abnormal tissue. It is commonly used to treat certain conditions.
RFA is generally considered a safe and effective treatment option with minimal discomfort and a relatively short recovery time compared to traditional surgery.

Cryoneuroablation
is a medical procedure that uses extreme cold to destroy or damage nerve tissues. This technique is often used to relieve pain or treat certain medical conditions by interrupting the transmission of pain signals along specific nerves. Cryoneuroablation is typically performed by inserting a specialized probe (cryoprobe) through the skin and into the targeted nerve or tissue. The tip of the probe is then cooled to very low temperatures, usually through the use of gases like nitrous oxide or argon, causing the nearby tissue to freeze and, in turn, interrupt the nerve signals.

Cryoneuroablation is commonly used in the treatment of chronic pain conditions, such as certain types of neuralgia (nerve pain), arthritis pain, and certain cancers. It is considered a minimally invasive procedure and is often chosen when other treatments like medications or physical therapy have not provided sufficient relief. The procedure can be performed on an outpatient basis and typically has a shorter recovery time compared to traditional surgery.

It's important to note that cryoneuroablation should only be performed by qualified healthcare professionals and is not suitable for all patients or conditions. The decision to undergo this procedure should be made after careful evaluation and consultation with a healthcare provider.

Prolotherapy is a therapy used to treat joint and muscle pain. It is sometimes called regenerative injection therapy. Prolotherapy involves injecting a sugar (Dextrose), Platelet Rich Plasma injection (PRP) or Stem cell into your sore joint or muscle, where it acts as an irritant. It’s starts your body’s natural healing process. This process is meant to help repair any damaged soft tissue in your joint or muscle area, like nerves, blood vessels, and muscle tissue.
Perineural Injection Therapy (PIT) are dextrose or PRP solutions that are injected near superficial nerves. PIT treats inflammation and injury by feeding and hydrating the injured nerve. After subsequent treatments, pain is generally reduced and mobility is improved as the tissue progressively heals.
